Instant meetings

Let people talk to your team right now

Turn on Connect now for a team booking link. A visitor who doesn't want to wait for a slot asks for a call, everyone on the team gets a notification, and the first person to accept meets them on Cal Video.

Kenji asks, Pieter picks up

Kenji is comparing plans on Friday morning and wants to talk to Acme's sales team now, not on Monday. Follow his request from the button to the call.

Booking page

Kenji presses Connect now

The first open slot on Acme's sales link is Monday. The bar at the foot of the page says someone can talk now, and shows who.

Instant booking

He says who he is

The booker skips the calendar and asks for his name, his email and what he wants to talk about. Confirm sends the request.

Notifications

The whole team hears it

Lena, Pieter and Ida each get a browser notification. Kenji's page counts down the 90 seconds they have to answer.

Accept

Pieter answers first

He accepts and becomes the host. Lena opens hers a moment later, sees it's taken, and can still join.

Cal Video

The call opens

Kenji goes straight into the call and Pieter is already there. No slot to pick and no invite to wait for.

Connect now shows when someone can answer

Each team link sets its own rules: the schedule Connect now follows, how long hosts have to accept, which links show it, and the webhooks that hear about every request.

Nobody free? Kenji books a time

If no one accepts before the countdown ends, Kenji's page says the team is busy and takes him back to the calendar to pick a slot.
