Our mission

Connect a billion people by 2031 through calendar scheduling.

Cal.com is the scheduling platform for individuals, teams and the products built on it: booking links, routing, workflows, Cal Video and Cal.ai, on cal.com or embedded in your own app. Founded in 2021 by Peer Richelsen and Bailey Pumfleet as Calendso.

From Calendso to Cal.com

Calendso launched in 2021 as a Calendly alternative and became Cal.com later that year when the company acquired the domain. Cal.com, Inc. is backed by investors including Seven Seven Six and OSS Capital.

  • Peer Richelsen

    Co-founder and Chairman

Peer is a German-born founder who had shipped several products before Cal.com and started Calendso in 2021 because every scheduling tool was closed and none could be embedded. He leads product and engineering and posts about building in public on X (@peer_rich).

  • Bailey Pumfleet

    Co-founder and CEO

Bailey is a British developer who joined Peer within weeks of the first Calendso commit and built much of the early product. As CEO he leads go-to-market, marketing, sales and everything else, and is on X (@baileypumfleet).

At our core

A remote team across Europe, the Americas and Asia, connected by one product and the people who book through it.

  1. Scheduling for absolutely everyone

The free plan has unlimited links, calendar connections and meetings. A solo consultant with one link and a 2,000-seat sales team run on the same product.

  2. Built to be embedded

Every capability of cal.com's own booking pages is available through API v2, React Atoms and embeds. API-driven and engineering friendly, on your domain, in your design.

  3. Ship monthly, share the numbers

A versioned release every month since v1.0 in 2021, and revenue, growth and team metrics published on cal.com/open.

Remote across borders

Cal.com is a fully remote team of engineers, designers, product and go-to-market people across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Most of the team codes in the open; the company shares its metrics on cal.com/open and hires through cal.com/jobs.

What Cal.com does

One product from a personal booking link to an organization's routed, automated scheduling.

What makes Cal.com different

Where Cal.com stops being one more booking link.

API first

Every feature is an API: API v2, webhooks, OAuth clients and typed SDKs, with docs written for engineers.

Built to be embedded

Everything on cal.com's own booking pages works in your product through Atoms and embeds, in your design.

A free plan without limits

Unlimited links, calendars and meetings for free. Teams from $12 a seat, Organizations from $28, both with a 14-day trial.

AI that books and answers

Cal.ai phone calls at $0.29 a minute on the workflows you already have, and agents in Slack, Telegram and email.

Compliance that passes the audit

SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA with a BAA, GDPR and CCPA, so regulated teams adopt it without a side project.

Ships every month

A dated, versioned release every month since v1.0 in 2021, listed further down this page.
