NewNotes in Cal Desktop

Notes for every call. Nothing joins the call.

Cal Desktop notices when a call starts and offers to take notes. It transcribes on your Mac, with no bot in the meeting, and the summary is waiting when you hang up.

A summary shaped like the meeting.

Automatic picks a template from the meeting's title, or 1:1 when there are two of you. Pick another and the summary is written again. Make your own with the sections you want, and a line of guidance under each.

Send it where the work happens.

A note goes on from where it is: into a Notion database, to a Slack channel, as Linear tickets from its to-dos, or as a link you share.

Nothing joins the call.

No bot sits in your meeting. Cal Desktop records the call on your Mac and transcribes it there, and it works offline.

  • Transcribed on your Mac

  • No bot in the attendee list

  • You choose what a shared link shows

Because nothing joins the call, the people in it aren't told they're being transcribed. Let them know.

On Cal Video, in the browser too.

Cal Video calls get a recap without the app: the summary comes with the transcript email and stays on the booking. We're opening it up gradually.

Cal.com Notes will only be available on paid plans.
