How daylight saving time changes the difference
Most of the US, Canada, Europe and the UK move their clocks by an hour twice a year, but not on the same dates. US clocks go forward on 14 March 2027. EU and UK clocks go forward on 28 March 2027.
The gap moves by an hour
Between those dates New York is 4 hours behind London instead of 5. India, Japan and most of Asia don't change, so their gap with the US moves twice a year.
